Install and log in
Download the platform from the MetaTrader 5 page, install, and in the login window search for Arabian Markets. Choose the demo server if you are starting there. Log in with the account number and password from your welcome email and change the password on first login.
Find the symbols you trade
Market Watch shows a default list. Right-click it, choose Symbols, and expand the groups. Show the instruments you actually trade and hide the rest; a shorter list is easier to read in a fast market.
Read the specification before anything else
Right-click a symbol and open Specification. It shows the contract size, the swap long and short, the trading hours and the minimum and maximum lot. Everything you need to know about the cost of holding a position is here. Read it once for every instrument you trade.
Place a first order on demo
Open New Order. Set the volume in lots, and set a stop loss and take profit before you click, not after. Market execution fills at the current price; a pending order waits for the price you set. Watch the margin figure update as you change the volume; that is the money the position will lock.
Check what happened
The Trade tab shows the open position, its floating profit or loss, and the margin used. The History tab shows closed trades with commission and swap as separate lines. Reconcile one trade end to end before trading live; if any line surprises you, ask the desk.
Mobile and web
The same login works on the mobile apps and the web terminal. Positions, history and pending orders are identical everywhere. Most clients use desktop or web to plan and mobile to monitor.
