How Arabian Markets protects your information.

The Arabian Markets entity that determines how and why your personal information is processed acts as the data controller under applicable data-protection legislation.

The precise legal entity may depend on the entity through which your account or relationship is established. Company and regulatory details should be stated in the legal and regulatory disclosures and client documentation applicable to your account.

Personal information means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual. Irreversibly anonymised information is not treated as personal data.

We may also collect information automatically through cookies, server logs, analytics technologies, pixels, device technologies, mobile applications and fraud-monitoring systems.

Where legally permitted, we may receive information from identity-verification providers, KYC and AML screening providers, sanctions and PEP databases, banks, payment providers, public databases, regulators, analytics providers, marketing partners, authorised business partners and publicly available sources.

We process personal information only where we have an appropriate purpose and lawful basis for doing so.

Arabian Markets may provide technology-assisted market analysis, analytical tools and other features that use algorithms or artificial intelligence.

Information about platform activity, selected instruments, preferences or interactions may be processed to operate, personalise, secure or improve these tools.

AI-generated market information, signals, analytics or similar outputs should not automatically be interpreted as personalised financial advice unless expressly stated otherwise. Where automated processing is used for fraud prevention, risk monitoring, identity verification, account security or regulatory compliance, we apply safeguards appropriate to the processing.

Depending on your jurisdiction, we may rely on performance of a contract, legal or regulatory obligation, legitimate interests or consent when processing personal data.

Legitimate interests may include fraud prevention, cyber security, service improvement and administrative activities, provided those interests are not overridden by your fundamental privacy rights.

Where consent is our legal basis, you may generally withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Where permitted by applicable law, Arabian Markets may send information about products, services, platform features, educational material, market content, events, promotions and other information that may be relevant to you.

You can unsubscribe from non-essential marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe option in the relevant message or by contacting us.

Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from sending necessary service, account, security, transactional, compliance or regulatory communications. We do not sell personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

We disclose personal information only where reasonably necessary, legally permitted or required.

• Arabian Markets affiliates for administration, technology, client services, compliance, security and legitimate business purposes.
• Technology and infrastructure providers for cloud hosting, data storage, cybersecurity, communications, analytics, CRM, platform technology and technical support.
• Payment, banking, verification and compliance providers involved in deposits, withdrawals, identity checks, document checks, AML screening, sanctions screening, fraud prevention, transaction monitoring and regulatory compliance.
• Professional advisers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement authorities, tax authorities, financial-intelligence units and other public authorities where required or permitted by law.
• Prospective buyers, investors, advisers or successor entities in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale or transfer of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Arabian Markets operates in an international financial and technology environment, so personal information may be accessed, stored or processed in countries other than the country in which you live.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, we seek to apply safeguards required by applicable data-protection legislation, which may include adequate-protection jurisdictions, contractual arrangements, standard contractual clauses, confidentiality and security requirements, intra-group data-protection arrangements or another legally recognised mechanism.

Arabian Markets uses cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve our website and digital services.

Cookies may support website functionality, preferences, secure sessions, authentication, fraud prevention, performance measurement, visitor-behaviour analysis, website improvement and marketing effectiveness.

Some cookies are essential and cannot reasonably be disabled through our systems. Other cookies may depend on your preferences and applicable consent requirements.

We use technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, accidental loss, misuse, alteration, destruction, unauthorised disclosure and cyber-security threats.

Safeguards may include encrypted communications, secure infrastructure, authentication controls, access restrictions, multi-factor authentication, monitoring, logging, security testing, backups, employee access controls and incident-response processes.

No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting account credentials and should immediately notify Arabian Markets if they believe their account or credentials have been compromised.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to satisfy applicable legal, contractual and regulatory obligations.

Retention periods may depend on the duration of your relationship with Arabian Markets, financial-services record-keeping requirements, AML/KYC duties, tax and accounting obligations, transaction records, regulatory requirements, disputes, complaints, fraud prevention and legal proceedings.

Certain identification, financial, communication and transaction records may need to be retained for several years after an account has closed or the client relationship has ended. When information is no longer required, we may securely delete, destroy or anonymise it.

Depending on the law applicable to you and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights relating to your personal information.

• Request confirmation that we process your personal data and request access to it.

Arabian Markets' financial and trading services are not intended for individuals who do not meet the minimum legal age required to enter into financial-services agreements in the applicable jurisdiction.

We do not knowingly seek to establish trading accounts for minors. If we become aware that personal information has been collected from an individual who is legally ineligible to use our services, we may take reasonable steps to close the relevant account and delete or restrict the information where legally permitted.

Our website, applications or communications may contain links to third-party websites, applications or services.

Those third parties operate independently from Arabian Markets and may have their own privacy practices. Arabian Markets is not responsible for privacy, security or content practices of third-party websites or services that we do not control.

Because Arabian Markets provides access to trading-related products, financial markets and account services, certain information may need to be processed even where a client later asks that processing stop.

Legal and regulatory requirements may require us to maintain information concerning client identification, account opening, KYC and AML verification, funding, withdrawals, trading activity, transaction records, client communications, complaints, fraud investigations, suspicious-activity investigations and regulatory reporting.

Where such obligations apply, they may take precedence over certain deletion, objection or restriction requests for the period required by law. Arabian Markets will seek to limit continued processing to the purposes for which retention remains legally or operationally necessary.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services, technology, processing activities, legal or regulatory requirements, or privacy and security practices.

When we make changes, the revised version will be published on our website and the Last updated date will be amended. Where a material change requires additional notice, we may notify affected clients through email, account notifications, the trading platform or another appropriate communication channel.
